CONNECT 2019 is designed for all Adventists college and university students in the Georgia-Cumberland Conference who don’t attend a Seventh-day Adventist college or university.
Speaker: Darlye Innocent, MSW, Ph.D.
Dr. Darlye Élise Innocent is social scientist with a passion for wellness and exploring the social implications of the Gospel for human flourishing in academia and beyond. She served as program director of STRIDE campus ministries in Boston, Mass., and now works as a consultant to ministry leaders. Darlye holds a doctorate in community resources and development from Arizona State University, a master's degree in social work from Howard University, a medical missionary certificate from Beehive/M.E.E.T. (“meet”) Ministries, and a bachelor's degree in psychology and Spanish studies from Andrews University. She’s a globetrotter, having been to more than 40 countries and now calls New South Wales, Australia home.
